Vision

The further development and continuous modernization of the research infrastructure in order to maintain the research and service standards we plan to carry out with the following procurements.

In addition to preserving the condition of the existing laboratories, we would like to use the amount planned for infrastructure investments mainly to create a new maintenance and storage place for ground and aerial autonomous vehicles.

Another direction of investments is the development of equipment. Since our assets are in continuous use, and new generations of the continuous development of such assets are arriving, in the next 5 years almost the majority of the assets will have to be replaced due to their obsolescence and wear and tear.

The continuous development of the experimental platforms and the laboratory environment requires new hardware devices related to ground and air vehicles, e.g. for sensors, measuring devices, acquisition of communication devices, as well as continuous software development of on-board and laboratory systems, as well as extension of existing licenses. We also need the acquisition and continuous maintenance of computer systems and HIL simulation systems, the acquisition of new presentation and field demonstration tools, as well as cargo-carrying quadcopters, drones with medium and high-performance on-board computers for field and indoor navigation, photogrammetric sensors, lidar sensors, data radios, camera systems, positioning systems and network devices and associated software to expand the test arena.
